I am a full-stack web developer and Zend Certified PHP Engineer with 20 years experience in the software industry.
After more than a decade as the lead engineer for multiple US software companies, I can take on a wide range of projects while maintaining great communication and providing valuable expertise.
In 2011, I joined Web3Box Software as a web developer and one year later I was directly influencing the company's technology stack - being promoted to partner and CTO.
In the past years, in various forms of collaboration, I was responsible for overseeing and executing various software products for Beats, TRX, Nixon, Panasonic, Change Healthcare and The Library of Congress, but from time to time I still like to take on new challenges through Toptal and to open source on Codepunker.com.
In 2017, in my home city in Romania, I created the Punked School of Coding - an initiative that raised funds and educated eleven children aged 12 to 14 in the basics of programming. Every weekend, for one whole year, children learned programming for free and everything from laptops to desks and office space was funded from donations I raised from friends and business partners.
In case it matters, I have a BA in English, and outside of work I'm a husband and father of two.
